Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing in Scarsdale, NY
A homeowner in Scarsdale was getting water into parts of their finished basement and was looking for a solution from us as quickly as possible. One of our Sales Consultants, James Stablein, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide them with a solution to waterproof their basement.
Soon an install date was scheduled and it would be time for one of our Foremen, Cisco Berrios, and his crew to tackle this project. They installed our WaterGuard drain system below the floors to collect any water coming in through the walls or floors. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump in the lowest point to take that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. These systems will keep the basement dry and ensure that any other part of their finished basement won't get water again.
Finished Basement
This home had a finished basement that was getting water through the finished areas and their existing pump was not doing its job.
TripleSafe
Our crew installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps. This works with 3 pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup. These will pump the water collected through the WaterGuard drains and be pumped out of the home at a safe distance.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
Our team installed WaterGuard drains below the floor and along the basement. This gets installed by jackhammering, installing the drains, and covering it with new concrete. The CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed on the walls, os if any water comes in from the walls, gets drained into the WaterGuard as well. All of the water collected goes directly into the sump pump.
