A homeowner in Bloomfield, CT was getting water seepage in their basement and was looking for a solution, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. After scheduling an appointment, it would soon be time for one of the Sales Consultants, Alex Lopez, to go out to the home to assess the issues and provide them with a free estimate.
Once a proposal was written and accepted, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his crew to install this project. They installed our WaterGuard drain system around the entire perimeter of the basement to collect any water coming in from the walls or the floors. They also installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps to take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls to protect them from moisture and lead any water from the walls into the drains below the floor. With these systems, this basement will stay dry all the time.
Before Waterproofing

WaterGuard and TripleSafe
Our crew installed our WateGuard drain system that goes under the floor along the entire perimeter of this basement. It will collect the water coming in through the walls or floors. They installed a TripleSafe sump pump that works with three pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a battery backup. This will pump the water out of the home no matter the circumstance.
CleanSpace and WaterGuard
Our crew installed CleanSpace on the walls to protect them from vapor and excess moisture. It will lead any water coming in from the walls into the WaterGuard.
