Photo Album: Waterproofing Systems in Pound Ridge, NY
A homeowner in Pound Ridge, NY was getting water in their basement that was causing damage and leaving a muddy mess. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems and set an appointment with one of our Sales Consultants, Rick Raucci. Rick went out to the home to assess the issues and provide them with a proper solution for their basement needs. Once everything was approved, it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Garfield Sanderson, and his crew to install the job. They installed WaterGuard drains below the floor (under the new concrete) so that any water coming in from the walls or floor around the entire perimeter of the basement, will get collected and led into the sump pump. Then they installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps, which would take that collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. This pump works with 3 different pumps and is our most reliable sump pump system. The team even installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier along the walls of the basement to protect from moisture and ensure any water coming from the walls gets directed into the drainage system. Now this basement will stay dry permanently and the homeowner never needs to worry about water in their basement again.

Water In Basement
Here, at the bottom of the stairs, more water was coming into the basement.
WateGuard and TrenchDrain
Our team installed a WaterGuard drain system around the entire perimeter of the basement to ensure that any water coming in form walls or floors gets collected. The TrenchDrain was installed at the bottom of the stairs so that if excess water comes in, it's still going into the drain system.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace
WaterGuard goes along the perimeter of the basement, under the concrete. CleanSpace gets installed on the walls to act as a vapor barrier and to lead any water coming in from the walls, into the WaterGuard system below.
