Photo Album: Basement and Crawlspace Waterproofing in Kent, CT

A homeowner in Kent, CT was getting water in their basement and crawlspace. They made the right decision when they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us find a solution to their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Brian DiRisi, went to the home to assess the issues and provide the right systems that will protect their space for the long term.  Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Marcial Lopez, and his crew to install this project in the basement. They installed a WaterGuard drainage system below the floor to collect any water coming in from the floors or the walls. Then they installed a TripleSafe sump pump which takes that collected water and pumps it out of the home at a safe distance. This sump pump works with three pumps, one of which is a battery backup, making it our strongest sump pump. These systems work together to keep any water out of this basement. They also installed a SaniDry XP, one of our dehumidifiers, to protect the basement from excess moisture and mold growth. Now this basement is dry and the homeowner no longer needs to worry about future water damage.  For the crawlspace, the crew installed drainage matting, TerraBlock, and CleanSpace vapor barrier around the whole crawlspace. These will work together to insulate and protect the space from getting water in through the floors or walls.
