Photo Album: Crawlspace Waterproofing in Oxford, CT
A homeowner in Oxford, CT was getting water in their crawlspace and decided it was time to get this problem solved as it was causing a lot of damage. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us come out and fix this issue. After scheduling an appointment, it would then be time for one of our Sales Consultants, Steve Machnicz, to go out to the home to assess the issues and provide the proper solution for the job. He informed the homeowner that they would need some of our waterproofing products along with some insulation to keep this crawlspace fully protected all year long.
Once the job was proposed, it would then be time for one of our Foremen, Noel Harvey, and his team to tackle this project. They installed a SuperSump Plus to collect any water that comes into the crawlspace. This will be pumped out of the home through a discharge line. They also installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier around the whole crawlspace to protect it from water damage and to direct any water coming in from the walls into the sump pump. They even installed SilverGlo insulation on the walls to protect this crawlspace and keep it energy efficient. It will reflect heat into the crawlspace. Now this space is waterproofed and insulated, so the customer no longer has to worry about future water damage.
