This Rye, NY home had ground water seeping in through the basement. This was a nuisance to the homeowner and creating an unpleasing environment. The homeowner knew that a solution was needed to keep his basement dry, so he contacted the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution was to install a WaterGuard system paired with a TripleSafe sump pump. The combination of these two systems will keep the basement dry. The ground water will be collected by the WaterGuard before it has a chance to seep through the floors of the basement. Then the water is channeled to the TripleSafe sump pump where the water is discharged away from the home by a discharge line. In addition to this system, CleanSpace liner was applied to the concrete walls of the basement. This acts as a moisture barrier and will prevent any water seepage from coming through the walls.
