The "All Things Basementy!" Story

Many People Know Us By The Memorable Headline We Use In Our Advertising And On Our Trucks – “All Things Basementy!”

Some people say “that’s not a word”, and some people laugh, and some people think it’s genius. In any case, they are thinking about us and know what we do!

The phrase came to be out of my frustration. You see, we started in basement waterproofing and used the headline “Wet Basement?” for years. But we also were experts at fixing dirt crawl spaces, foundation repair, dehumidification and basement finishing. But people weren’t thinking of us for those things – only basement waterproofing. I had to run different ads for those other things and it was frustrating.

One day, I was lamenting, “If only people knew to call us for anything in their basement or foundation. If only they knew us as doing….all things… basementy!”
And then the clouds parted and the sun came down and the angels sang – and it was cemented into history. “All Things Basementy!” People get it now and they don’t forget us.
