Holiday Giving Week 2020 at Connecticut Basement Systems

Holiday Giving Week at Connecticut Basement Systems is back again -- Covid can’t stop kindness!

Food Donations

This year, like usual, Contractor Nation joined in on our festivities. Due to the virus, our annual bake sale was put on hold, and instead we donated food to the Seymour/Oxford Food Bank. Both buildings were able to consolidate donations and help feed The Valley with canned and non perishable goods -- over two cars worth to be exact! The Marketing Team at both CN and CTBS, Sara, Blair, and Leslie, helped organize and transport the items to the appropriate donation spots.

We also teamed up with our friends over at TEAM Inc., donating toys virtually on Amazon Wishlist. TEAM's goal is to make magic happen every year, and this year especially.

Food Donations

To pair with a full stomach, we wanted everybody to be warm this winter. Our team put together donations of gently used clothes and jackets to send to the Salvation Army of Ansonia. Both buildings were able to collect roughly 20 bags of clothes, including jackets, shirts, shoes, and pants.

Lastly, we needed to channel as much good holiday cheer as we possibly could this year! We ended Holiday Giving Week with Festive Friday -- everybody wore their craziest holiday gear.

CTBS and CN wanted to make sure that all our neighbors and local businesses who need it can be included and helped this holiday season. We’re wishing you a happy and safe holiday.
