We had Basement Systems install wood-like basement flooring.
The contractor was friendly, helpful, and did a great job on the installation. I felt comfortable with the men that were installing the floor and left them in my home while I was at work.
Perhaps most importantly, however, is the product itself. It is absolutely beautiful and well worth the money. You'd be hard pressed to find a better product.
They came out and did the work they said they were going to do. They were very professional and cleaned up after the job. I haven't had any water in my basement since.
My basement used to leak. I had to keep the carpet folded back. Had to run a dehumidifier right in the corner where it leaked. It was totally depressing.
Although I had put off spending the money to fix it for a long time, I could kick myself for not have doing it sooner. Basement Systems had the nicest people and the basement is dry. I highly recommend this company.
What a pleasure to work with a contractor that understands customer service. From the moment they answered the phone on the first ring, service was top notch. They showed up when they said they would show up, they finished when they said they would finish, they charged what they said they would charge, and they installed what they said they would install. This may seem obvious, but it is actually a rarity when dealing with contractors.

A great system to have in your home, especially if your near water of any type, if your pipes get damaged or if any overflows occur. When you have suffered water damage of any type more than once, I suggest that you look into their waterproofing system.
I have been doing water damage restoration for over twenty years now, and most of our clients that have gone through water damage more than once have been recommended by us to look into Connecticut Basement Waterproofing Systems. They also use moisture evaporation technology as well for damp basements.
Those who have purchased one of these systems, had made a wise investment in protecting their home from further damage and we have never been back to their homes to recover water at all.
Their product is designed, manufactured and installed by their expert staff. If your looking for advise, I highly recommend you look into this system, water damage can cost more than any system installed in your home.
The professionalism with which the two underground systems in our 2400 sf space in a commercial building were designed and installed is outstanding! If the floor were painted over, you could not tell that there had been any work completed at all.
Work was completed in a timely fashio, save for an unexpected interruption.

Being a demanding consumer, I expected professional consultation. I received it. I also expected professional work done. I received it.
Being a cynic and being full aware that I knew little about basement water issues, I wondered if my problem might be small but have a vendor gouge me for way more work/expense than needed. Like selling me a corvette when I need a chevette. Like having a blown fuse in your car but the mechanic replaces (or doesn't?) your heater core.
The sales/consult person quickly surmised the issue even though it was behind a finished wall. He flat out told me it was minor. He was very confident and that made me confident. The quote was worthy of a heavy sigh of relief.
The technician was amiable and confident. The work area that needed exposure and refinishing was kept to an absolute minimum...thank you.
Sure...one should expect all the above. But, with all the horror stories of getting rooked by vendors, it's always a pleasure to meet one with ethics.
Reward them with your business. And don't worry. If your diagnosis/quote IS big, you can rest assured it's because the problem truly IS big. You don't need to worry that a shady vendor is trying to soak you.
Basement Systems installed a full perimeter drain in the basement of my 1886 home and we finally have a basement that we can use for storage. The installation was perfomed in a very professional matter and the work was first-rate. The people at the company were all a pleasure to deal with and extremely friendly and professional. In addition, since I had a stone basement that allowed water to flow through quite freely, it was a difficult job. I have had the company return on three occasions for some issues and they were extremely prompt and courteous about returning and making sure that I was happy. I feel that if I have any further problems, they will be at my door immediately to fix them. This is an excellent company to work with and their work is highly recommended.

I am quite sure that I made the right choice in my huge investment to return to a dry basement. If I bought anothe home with a similar problem, i wouldn't go anywhere else. I am also interested in your future services, like back-up whole house generators.
There are still a few gitches Isee in your overall operation, but pretty much you've earned a 5 WOW!
Thank you for a job well done. The system works so well. 100 % of the water is now diverted and the pump has never even turned on. Since my system has been installed, we have had major rain storms, hurricane, October nor-easter and not a hint of moisture in the basement- I would recommend this system to anyone with a wet basement.

Excellent job and great company. I am very satisfied with the outcome. The crew was excellent, worked like machines, and respected my home like it was their own. I could not tell that they had even been there, as the job site was cleaned 100%. I hope I do not need their services again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to call!

The only disappointment I had was that strangers did the job, I thought the initial contact person would be on the job. I didn't know that strangers were coming on work day 1. I thought that Rick would be there at least to start and introduce the foreman. So that was a little unnerving and I almost canceled the job. But the foreman turned out to be great and productive and hardworking. Thank you!
Our installation was completed on 8-2-11 and my only complaint is I was told that someone would be back in contact with me to arrange another on sight visit in a couple weeks....and it's been 6 weeks and I haven't heard from anyone. The crew left screws above the molding around the basement and I was told that they would be removed. There is one screw sticking out just below a step into the basement and I'm afrain we are going to catch our leg on it.
