Walkout Basement Remodel. Before we finished this basement, it was a cold space that was not being used to its full potential. With our wide range of basement finishing products, we transformed the space, taking full advantage of the light coming in through windows and doors. We chose two solutions perfect for the basement environment: our EverLast wall panels, which are waterproof and tougher than drywall, and MillCreek flooring, which will not bend or buckle when wet. The owners of this home are delighted with their warm, dry, comfortable living space in their basement!

This Seymour home had an insufficient basement that became frequently wet and had a lot of unwanted air flow that made the area uncomfortable. The homeowner wanted to utilize her basement to the fullest potential and decided to schedule an appointment with the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
On the day of the appointment, Sales Representative Steve Macnicz arrived at the home to inspect the basement. Upon inspection, he knew that the wet basement would benefit from a WaterGuard System that would collect the water seepage internally. The water that is collected would be channeled to the TripleSafe sump pump where it will be exited through a discharge line away from the home. In order to properly insulate the basement, new windows and rim joist insulation was recommended to prevent unwanted air flow. CleanSpace could be installed on the walls to direct wall seepage to the WaterGuard system. The homeowner and Steve went over each product and their benefits in great detail. The homeowner decided that this would be the best solution for her basement.
On the day of production, Foreman Krzys Wilk and his team installed the WaterGuard system, TripleSafe, CleanSpace , EverLast windows and rim joist insulation professionally and efficiently. To install the WaterGuard System, the perimeter of the basement floors were excavated in order to place the system. Once the system was installed, it was back filled with gravel and then sealed with cement. The system is connected to the TripleSafe sump pump. The CleanSpace was installed on the walls. 2 basement windows were installed to prevent air leakage and also to make the area brighter and more efficient. The rim joists of the basement were insulated to also prevent air leakage. Once all of these products were installed, they created a dry and enjoyable basement which the homeowner could enjoy and utilize fully!
These homeowners had just purchased their home and as soon as the moved in, they realized that their garage was wet after a rain storm. They soon noticed that the garage had a crack in its wall that caused a lot of water to seep through, actually flooding the basement. Frustrated, especially after just purchasing the home, they knew just who to call to help with their wet area.
They contacted Connecticut Basement Systems to schedule a free, no obligation estimate. On the day of the appointment, Glen Kerpchar arrived at the home to inspect the situation. After seeing the crack, he highly recommended the product FlexiSpan. This product will seal the entire length of the crack, doubling as a waterproof method. Then a channel is attached to the sealant, channeling any moisture away from the basement. This is exactly what the homeowners wanted and decided to move forward with the project.
On the day of production, Justin Vizard arrived at the home to apply the FlexiSpan. He installed this product professionally and efficiently. Once the entire project was completed, the homeowners were instantly relieved that they will now have a dry basement moving forward.
The homeowners have not had any water issues in their garage ever since and are so happy that Connecticut Basement Systems were able to help.
Miguel's front walkway was lifting and settling, creating an uneven surface that was dangerous for people to walk on. He immediately reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems. They offered Miguel a permanent solution to his sinking concrete slab problems, known as PolyLEVEL.
Miguel agreed to have his walkway lifted and leveled out with this efficient new method of concrete repair. PolyLEVEL is a two-part injection foam that is pumped beneath a concrete slab to fill the void between the soil and slab. This process firmly stabilizes the concrete and returns it back to its original condition.
