Miguel's front walkway was lifting and settling, creating an uneven surface that was dangerous for people to walk on. He immediately reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems. They offered Miguel a permanent solution to his sinking concrete slab problems, known as PolyLEVEL.
Miguel agreed to have his walkway lifted and leveled out with this efficient new method of concrete repair. PolyLEVEL is a two-part injection foam that is pumped beneath a concrete slab to fill the void between the soil and slab. Crystal H. of Oxford, Connecticut needed space for a home gym and media area, and decided to finish her basement. She read about Total Basement Finishing online, and loved the fact that our system is mold, mildew, and water resistant in the event of heavy rain or flooding.
Shortly after contacting us, she met with one of our basement finishing experts, Ron Marra. Foreman Justin Vizzard installed a FlexiSpan system before finishing it, to ensure no water leaked through the cracks in her basement. After the basement was waterproofed, it was ready to be finished. ThermalDry flooring and EverLast wall panels were put in. Crystal and her family loved the fact that the ThermalDry carpets were ten degrees warmer than concrete.
After the work was complete, Crystal had a beautiful new space for family and friends to hang out in. She will enjoy a finished, dry basement for years to come, complete with a 50 year warranty on the walls to ensure the quality of the product.
Robert P. of Milford, CT wanted a clean, safe space for his kids to play in. He decided to turn his basement from a damp storage area into a finished basement. Robert reached out to Connecticut Basement Systems, and with Basement Finishing specialist Ronald Marra, devised a plan to transform his unfinished basement.
Soon after, foreman Erik Dobrzycki and his crew arrived in Rob’s home. They installed an Everlast perimeter wall system, which is fully washable and is 197% stronger than drywall. This wall system is created with inorganic materials-- materials that will not be damaged by water, and will not support the growth of mold or mildew. Additionally, Erik installed a half bathroom, electrical baseboard heating, a new window, and flooring.
Once the basement was finished, Robert and his family had a beautiful new living space to watch their kids grow up in.
Martha H of Guilford, CT noticed her finished basement had wet spots in the carpeting. She realized that the wet finishing materials in her basement caused a potential mold problem and new she would have to do something about the situation before it got worse. After searching the web she found Larry Janesky's Connecticut Basement Systems and decided to have them come in for a free estimate to solve the water problem.
Shortly after giving them a call, an appointment was set for Mike Fuschetto to come evaluate the basement. Mike decided that having Al Guglielmoni install a WaterGuard drainage system and a TripleSafe Sump Pump system would be the best bet to get rid of any water. WaterGuard is a drainage channel that will lead any water coming into the basement to the TripleSafe pump system, where it will be then pumped out of the home a safe distance away.
Michael also proposed the SaniDry Basement Air system for Martha's basement. The SaniDry can dehumidify and filter the air at the same time. It's ENERGY STAR® rating makes it three times more efficient than common hardware store dehumidifiers.
Martha has been very happy and having no issues with water coming into her basement. It's now a dry, moisture free space that is safe to refinish and enjoy for years to come.
Water seepage into Mike A's Greenwich, Connecticut basement was causing a mold problem and Mike got on the Internet and searched for "seepage causing mold." He was in luck and filled out a contact form on BasementSystems.com.
On October 26th system design specialist Joe Pascarella came out to Mike's Greenwich home and performed a thorough inspection and measurement of the basement. He then went over the cause of the problem -- water entering the basement through the floor-wall joint -- and a solution -- the installation of our WaterGuard drainage channel system that would drain to a SuperSump sump pump system. They also decided on the installation of the SaniDry dehumidifier and air filter system, to really create a dry, usable basement space.
In addition to the waterproofing and dehumidification system, Connecticut Basement Systems also sprayed Mold X to neutralize the existing mold.

Joe Pascarella helped Ken B. to upgrade his SuperSump system that had been installed by us a few years ago to add the UltraSump Battery Backup Pumping System.
