We want to make our wet, leaky basement useable (about 1500 sqf). We have leaks coming in from the foundation walls. Windows and plumbing is probably leaking as well but not sure. We have a sump pump but we need to enhance with battery back-up etc to improve. We have limited drainage. We would like to turn the area into rec. room and storage if possible to keep dry. We have approximately 800 sq ft area needing finishing. It will be primarily be used for our kids playroom/entertainment area. It has garage access and staircase from hallway within home. There are 2 areas of utilities (indirect heating unit/water tank) that will need to be enclosed, and on opposite side our well pump and water treatment system also needing to be enclosed. There is an electrical panel that can be enclosed in one corner that can be apart of a storage cabinet for household paper items. Basement is water free and in great shape/easy access to work on. We'd like to get designs and quotes for possibly a January or February start/finish.
