Water used to flood this basement through the hatchway on rainy days. To prevent water from entering the home, our team installed the TrenchDrain grated drain along the basement enterance. Any water passing over the drain is collected through the openings and redirected to the sump pump. The homeowners can have peace of mind during rainstorms now!

This West Hartford home had a wet basement and it was affecting the overall health and comfort of the entire house. The homeowner wanted a dry and pleasant basement and after doing some research online, she decided to contact the experts at CT Basement Systems to help provide her a solution.
On the day of the appointment, Sales Representative Steve Godbout arrived at the home to inspect the basement. He realized that there was a lot of ground water that was seeping through the floors of the basement which was the cause of the wet area. Steve also noticed that the water coming into the basement affected the walls because there was clear discoloration. Wet walls are not good because they can deteriorate and even create mold. Steve reassured that the we had the exact product and systems that would create a dry and pleasant basement. A WaterGuard system can be installed around the perimeter of the basement that will collect the ground water and channel it to the sump pump system. To provide a solution for the basement walls, Steve suggested installing BrightWall panels which will give the area cleaner look while protecting against water seepage as well. This is exactly what the homeowner had wanted and decided to move forward with the project.
On the day of production, Foreman Krzys Wilk and his team installed the WaterGuard System, SuperSump pump and the BrightWall efficiently and professionally. The transformation with the BrightWall was incredible, allowing the basement to become a more welcoming area. Now, the basement is a dry and pleasant area for all to enjoy!
