This North Haven basement constantly had water problems in the basement. This became a nuisance for the homeowner who wanted to utilize his basement to the fullest potential. Wanting a solution, he decided to contact the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to help develop a plan.
On the day of the free, no obligation estimate, Sales Representative Mick Foster arrived at the home to analyze the basement. He first noticed that moisture was entering the basement from the floors which can be solved by our WaterGuard system. Mick also noticed that there was moisture damage to the bottom half of the walls in the basement which can be replaced by our wall restoration system. The homeowner went over all the products and solutions in great detail and felt that this was the perfect plan to waterproof his basement and wanted to move forward to installation.
On the day of production, Foreman Kevon Barnett and his crew installed the wall restoration to replace the water damaged walls. This product is also strong, durable and waterproof so the homeowner will not have to worry about damaged walls again. Once that was completed, Foreman Sid Aviz and his crew installed the WaterGuard system which will collect water internally before it enters the basement. The water is then channeled to the TripleSafe sump pump where the water is discharged from the home. This system will ensure that the basement will stay dry all year long. The homeowner was pleased with the entire process and even happier with his dry basement!
This North Haven house was experiencing excess water leakage into the basement coming from the stairs, and it was beginning to cause floor damage. The owner wanted a solution to this unwanted moisture, so he gave Connecticut Basement Systems a call!
One of our first solutions was to install a TrenchDrain at the end of the stairs. Capturing surface water is often critical to keep a basement or other area dry. By coupling it with our Waterguard drain lines, these two work perfectly together to make sure water is removed from the basement entrance seamlessly. We also went forward and installed our SuperSump system, along with our SuperLiner. This premium plastic sump liner is the attractive alternative to an open sump pit. Perforations in the liner capture ground water, and a larger opening connects to the interior drainage system. The pump also has an airtight lid, keeping out debris and unwanted pests. All together, this is a full proof system that is sure to keep this basement dry for years to come!
