These Fairfield, CT homeowners noticed their basement was damp and humid so they gave Connecticut Basement Systems a call to waterproof their basement.
Our sales rep Gus Stozinic went to the home in Fairfield to determine a solution for their basement. He determined that the Sanidry Sedona would be useful to lower their humidity. Antonio Diaz and his production team got to work and installed the Sanidry Sedona and Sanidry Condition Pump. The Sanidry Sedona keeps your home below 55% Relative Humidity so mold, musty odors, and humidity even from a lot of dampness will not survive. They also installed Rim Joist Insulation in their crawlspace which further protects against humidity since it's isolated from the ground and outside.
After this job was completed Gus went back out for a revisit and they decided to do more work by adding the ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring to their basement. Jose Blees and his team added in the Light Pecan colored Elite Plank Flooring. This special flooring is made from inorganic material so it is prone to water or mold damage, works along with our waterproofing systems, and provides a sleek style.
One the job was completed they were happy with their dry and upgraded basement.
This house has a plumbing leak which caused damages to the basement. The asbestos floor tiles were lifting up and the paneled walls and doors had been ruined. They wanted to renovate the basement to make it a clean, usable space. They also wanted to cover up a sewer line that was very apparent and stuck out of the wall. The homeowners knew to call the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
Chavon and his crew did an amazing job building a closet around the sewer line with a door for access to the line. This was able to hide the unattractive sewer line but still make it assessable. Under the stairs, they built a nook that the owners requested as a place for their grandchildren to play. To get the space how our customers wanted, we installed EverLast walls, new doors, windows and ThermalDry flooring in the lovely choice of Sandstone. The new walls and flooring are able to give this space the protection and clean look the homeowners were looking for to enjoy its full potential with family and guests.
This Fairfield home was experiencing water in her basement for a long time. She became so frustrated with this problem and wanted to find a solution. After much research, she decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems for a free estimate!
On the day of the appointment, our Sales Representative Rick Raucci arrived at the home to inspect the basement area. He concluded that the basement would best benefit from a WaterGuard system, which will essentially collect water and guide it to the sump pump. From there, the water will exit the home through a discharge line. The homeowner knew this system would solve her basement problem and decided to move forward with the installation.
When it came to installation day, Krzys and his production team installed the products efficiently and professionally. The homeowner was so happy with all the products and how well they worked together. Now she can enjoy a dry basement all year long!
