This Bridgeport Home had a non working sump pump in a hole with a plastic hose to suck up water when rain came in. As you can see that did not work very well and the basement would fill up with moisture and smell very bad. These happy customers contacted us here at CT Basement Systems and we had one of wonderful sales reps come out and fix the problem. In the place of the non working sump pump we put in our TripleSafe Sump Pump which has three levels of protection. Not only does it have 2 pumps to make sure your basement doesn't flood, but in the instance that the power goes out then the third pump backed up by battery takes over. We make sure that basements stay dry, and we will contact you when your yearly maintenance comes up.

In this Bridgeport home the homeowners had a dirty, damp, uninviting crawl space. The homeowners were worried if the crawlspace stayed damp that it would damage the support to their home. If it continued to stay damp it would have damaged the support and the floors would have begun to sink. The homeowners contacted the experts at CT Basement Systems to make sure that the problem was taken care of. We came in and installed our Clean Space Vapor barrier. The encapsulation treatment totally separates and protects the crawl space interior from outdoor conditions, keeping the space clean and dry. To insualte and help protect we also installed our SilverGlo™ which is an expanded polystyrene foam insulation that's been infused with graphite during its creation to improve its insular ability by 24%. Combined with its silver radiant heat barrier on the visible surface, it provides an insulation rating of R-11 on your crawl space walls. This insulation can be customized for special projects or local code requirements, making it a versatile, effective solution.
The homeowners can rest assure that they have a dry and clean crawl space.

The homeowners in this Bridgeport, CT home had an old metal rotting window. The window was not only an eyesore but it also allowed water to come in and had begun to damage the wall and floors. We installed one of our EverLast™ Windows to give it a facelift that will never rot, rust, decay, or need any paint. The purpose of a basement window is to bring natural light into the basement and if the windows are rotted and covered with debris then they are not doing their job.
With a clean, leak-proof window in their basement that lets in more light, the homeowner could not be any happier.

This service appointment was a reactive call because the homeowners had noticed a crack in her floor that was seeping water. The reason that she called into Connecticut Basement Systems is because she had installed a full perimeter drainage system that would solve her wet basement problems. When we received the call, we were happy to send one of our Service Technicians to evaluate the problem and to see if it had any connection to our system.
Service Technician Sam Bullock arrived at the home to evaluate the problem. He concluded that the crack was caused by no relation to our system, just that concrete floor was old and porous and a crack was formed. Sam suggested a solution to solve this problem so the homeowners would not have to worry about a wet basement. He would excavate where the crack was and install a pipe that would lead to the sump pump. This way, the water will be collected internally and channeled to the sump pump system where it can be properly discharged away from the home. The excavation will then be concealed with cement. The homeowners were extremely happy that Sam was able to provide them with a solution and had the job completed. These homeowners were more than satisfied with Sam and Connecticut Basement Systems!
The Smith family was having constantly occurring issues with water coming in and damaging their basement. The water was coming in where the wall and the ground come in and they could not figure out how to make the water stop coming in, so they contacted the experts at CT Basement Systems and Len Fletcher made all their worries go away. Len advised them our Drytrack Drainage system. The reason behind installing this instead of our french drain system is because every floor is different from the other and some are monolithic floors which means that the edges of these floors are extremely thick, and jackhammering them is a labor-intensive and creates a lot of dust.
Our System: Collects Water From Walls & Floor Joint, Above The Mud Zone To Prevent Clogging, Ideal For Monolithic Or Thick Floors, Includes A Written Lifetime Warranty
