It was my intention to write a letter about the person who was in charge of installing our system. I failed to do that and have since forgotten his name but I do want you to know that he was outstanding. When they finished installing my system, my husband inspected what they'd done, seemed to approve, I paid them and they went on their way. Minutes later, my husband complained about something and had them drive back. And this was at the end of a long day. Without going into the lengthy, tedious details, I felt your installer handled this annoyance with such professionalism, grace and patience. I KNOW he had to have been annoyed. Heck, I was annoyed! I appreciated that he didn't let it get the best of him and was impressed by his unwavering professional demeanor. I remember that he's been with your company for more than 20 years. I understand why you've kept him that long. He MUST be one of the reasons you're rated so highly. Treat him well! By the way, I think my husband's complaint was probably unwarranted and I, ultimately, sent them back on their way without making the change my husband was suggesting - even though your installers were willing to do it.

I realize you were behind with all the bad weather this fall, but it took two months to have your electrician come out and finish the job (switching from extension cords to hard wiring & a generator hook-up). I had to call Bill to prompt the electrical work, so it seemed like our follow-up appointment got lost somewhere. Worth the wait though, as your electrician's service was every bit as professional as the installation crews - we were very impressed. It also didn't hurt that the bill came in ~$2,000 below your original estimate - we appreciate the integrity.

Your system has solved a serious water problem that had developed in a basement that hadn't leaked in 45 years, working flawlessly to keep us completely dry through several major storms this fall. Thanks for making our basement a useable part of our home again, and bring on the spring melt!

In closing, I have never seen a combination of professionalism, quality system components, and attention to detail like this before in a contractor. Thanks for doing a great job, and feel free to use us as a reference any time.

I need help with an old Connecticut house, built in 1750, with a very wet basement. I saw the review by someone for whom you installed two channels to a sump pump. That sounds like the kind of thing that might work in this house. There is currently a sump pump, but no channels, and the sump pump is unplugged and full of mud. I am not sure if it is working. The house was my father's house, and he managed the wetness with the sump pump plus fans and a dehumidifier, but I think that in his last years he probably neglected the problem. The fans and dehumidifier are no longer working. I don't live in the house (I live in Washington, DC), but I could meet someone there on August 24 to discuss possible solutions. Please let me know if that would work. Thanks.
