I had/have strong reservations about "clacking" noise from tiles coming in direct contact w/concrete floor when walked on wit shoes on. I initally asked to have underlayment put down as a buffer but was talked out of it citing potential mold problems if we ever had water again. Never fully convinced this would be an issue and now regret not putting it down. Only down side to installation, may be something to present to R&D team for future installs but love the product and the look!!!

We've had a finished basement and suddenly in December we noticed water pooling in the center of room, it's become worse.
