When water seeped into this Madison, CT basement, it had no place to go. To drain it away and get it out of the house, we installed the SuperSump sump pump and WaterGuard perimeter drain. WaterGuard, which is underneath the freshly poured cement, will catch water coming from the outside before it enters the basement. It then flows to the SuperSump pump. With its Zoeller ⅓ horsepower cast-iron sump pump, it will keep the basement dry for years to come!

He did his research and decided to contact the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to help find him a solution.
The solution for this home was to install FlexiSpan which is our wall crack repair system. This process will permanently stop water leakage through basement wall crack. The installation of this solution begins with the application of a flexible sealant along the full length of the crack. Then, a strip of flexible and porous foam is installed over the crack. Finally, an impermeable membrane is attached to the wall on both sides of the foam strips. And unlike sealant or mortar-based crack repair, the FlexiSpan system is not adversely affected by hydrostatic pressure or slight movement in the basement wall. This is exactly what the homeowner needed and was happy that he had a dry basement again!

He concluded that Push Piers and PolyLEVEL would need to be implemented to correctly repair the foundation problem. With a plan set, Sergio Alves and his production team got to work. With the piers set, a steel bracket and hydraulic jack are connected to each pier where the foundation is hydraulically lifted back to its original position. PolyLEVEL was used to lift settled slabs around the home.
