I moved into a place which was built in 1935 and they had put some wood down there but they hadn’t sealed the basement so it was in a pretty nasty condition when I moved in. All the work is very well done and it’s very nicely finished off. As part of that, they moved over a sink, some plumbing as well with my washer and dryer. The basement is now a livable space and it wasn’t before. I was very happy with that.

The financing was all good, too. I got an interest-free loan for a year but I haven’t had any feedback from them or any form of a follow-up to see how everything is doing and they’ve been suspiciously quiet. There was also one thing that I wanted them to fix which was some electrical issues. It didn’t turn out to be theirs but it was a symptom that was caused by what had been done. It had ended up being a utility problem instead. Other than that, it’s all been good.
