This Brewster basement had traditional fiber glass insulation that was poorly installed and was not controlling the heat and cool air throughout the home properly. This caused the home to have uneven temperatures and a high electric bill. They wanted a solution to make sure air leakage is totally prevented. They decided to give Connecticut Basement Systems a call to help find them a solution.
The experts at Connecticut Basement Systems installed Spray Foam on the ceiling of the basement. Spray Foam was the best option for this home because it effectively fills voids and odd-shaped spaces, meaning that you will always get total coverage. This product will stop air leakage, making it effective at saving the home owners money through their eclectic bill. Lastly, Spray Foam will not absorb moisture or lose R-value like fiberglass.
Now that their basement ceiling is completely Spray Foamed, these happy homeowners enjoy consistent temperatures throughout the home and a lower electric bill!

When we arrived at this crawlspace, it was damp and humid. In order to dry it out, we used several of our crawlspace repair products, including the TripleSafe sump pump. Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe provides three levels of protection for the basement and homeowner's peace of mind. It includes airtight lid, primary pump, secondary pump, and battery backup sump pump, in case of a power outage. The crawlspace will remain dry for years to come with the TripleSafe installed!
This Fairfield basement had frequent water that was causing a nuisance for the homeowner. An insufficient sump pump seemed to be the cause of this water problem. An insufficient sump pump will prevent water exiting the basement properly. The homeowner decided to call Connecticut Basement Systems and set an appointment to help find him a solution.
The solution to this sump pump problem was to install a SuperSump pump. The SuperSump pump includes a Zoeller 1/3 horsepower cast-iron sump pump. This powerful pump is capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour! The water is collected from the WaterGuard system which was also installed and goes through the SuperSump pump and through the discharge line, away from the basement.
Now, this homeowner enjoys a dry, clean basement all year long!
This Monroe, CT basement was experiencing a wet crawl space that was negatively affecting the entire home. The homeowner wanted a long-term solution and decided to contact the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems.
The solution was to replace the inefficient sump pump and replace it with our patented SuperSump pump. This sump pump will collect the water that would otherwise enter the basement and discharge it away from the home. This product is essential for a waterproofed basement and the homeowner can now enjoy his dry space.
This Sandy Hook home had water seeping in through the cements walls underneath the insulation and made its way into the drywall damaging it. The homeowners called the experts at CT Basement Systems and Brad diagnosed the issue and fixed it. To guide the water out of the home we installed our WaterGuard below floor drain. The WaterGuard is installed in a bed of gravel on top of the foundation footing which keeps it out of the "mud zone". The water is then collected and pumped out of the home by our premier SuperSump which is capable of pumping 2,200 gallons of water per hour. Because the previous insulation was damaged we installed our ThermalDry Basement Radiant Wall Barrier. The ThermalDry® Wall system protects the finished basement from moisture and water that passes through concrete foundation walls. This product serves as both a vapor barrier and also as a way to redirect water leaking through the basement walls into the drainage system below.
Before we arrived at this East Haven basement, it was cold and damp. The cracks in the wall made it easy for air flow and humidity to travel through. The homeowner wanted a solution to stop the air flow and humidity in her basement. She decided to give Connecticut Basement Systems a call to provide a solution!
With an appointment set, one of our System Design Specialists, Josh Kroop, was able to perform a free home evaluation. He concluded, to stop the air flow and humidity, a CleanSpace Wall would need to be installed. With the homeowner’s agreement, Cisco and Josh were able to install the system quickly and professionally.
Clean. Dry. Durable. Those are 3 words that accurately describe CleanSpace. It utilizes a thick (20 mil) white poly sheet material to completely cover basement foundation walls. This prevents humidity and air flow to travel through the basement, which solves the homeowner’s main concern. This patented product actually forces all wall seepage to go through the perimeter drain system. This homeowner decided to have a SuperSump paired with the CleanSpace wall for ultimate protection.
Now, this happy East Haven homeowner can enjoy her dry, clean basement!

Before we arrived at this Southington home, the floors were damp and the homeowner was unhappy with his wet basement. He wanted a solution to solve all his basement needs so he decided to give the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems a call!

With the homeowner’s approval, there was no time to waste and Josh and his production crew got to work!
They installed the WaterGuard System along with a SuperSump pump which will allow water to channel through the system and out the SuperSump pump. TrenchDrains were also installed to ensure that water does not flood from an outer entryway, in this particular home it was the under the doorway. The after photo shows the TrenchDrain installed under the doorway.

This crawl space in Coventry, CT was dirty, cold and had a lot of moisture which was a concern to the homeowner. Wanting a solution for his crawl space, he called the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems and scheduled an appointment.
Our Sales Representative, Steve Godbout, arrived at the home on the day of the appointment and concluded that a CleanSpace Liner would be the perfect solution for this crawl space. A CleanSpace Liner prevents air and moisture from entering the crawl space. The benefit of air and moisture not entering the crawl space is that the floors in the home directly above will be noticeably warmer. The homeowner approved of this proposal and could not wait for his clean, dry crawl space.
On the day of production, Cisco and Josh installed the CleanSpace Liner efficiently and professionally. Not only does this liner protect against mold and moisture, but it also gives the crawl space a clean finish. This solution satisfied all of the homeowner’s needs and could not be happier thanks to Connecticut Basement Systems!
In this Pawcatuck house, heavy rains always resulted in water in the basement much to the homeowners' dismay. At first, the homeowners bought two off-the-shelf sump pumps but when that didn't solve the problem effectively, they decided to call the experts at CT Basement Systems. We installed our WaterGuard French Drain System, which collects leaking water from the walls, features an anti-clog design, is installed out of the "mud zone" and includes a written lifetime warranty.
Once any leaking or seeping water is collected by the drainage system, it now automatically drains into the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, our premier sump pump solution. The TripleSafe, like the name implies, has three pumps. The first pump does the initial pumping when there is any water in the basement; if there is too much water for the first pump to handle, then the second pump kicks in. If the power goes out (it does happen!), the battery-powered third pump turns on and is able to pump enough water to fill half a swimming pool!
The homeowners can rest assured that they will no longer have water problems in their basement!
