This Scarsdale, NY basement used to have a water problem until we came in. We installed a SuperSump sump pump. Once the cement around it dries, the combination of the SuperSump and DryTrak perimeter drain will give the owner of this home a dry basement and peace of mind.
Old sump pumps without covers like this one allow water vapor to evaporate back into the basement, creating more basement problems like mold. With the airtight lid on the SuperSump that we installed in its place, we were able to keep water in the sump pump system, and also keep out any dirt and debris that could clog a sump pump.
The P. family had continuing moisture problems in their Hartsdale home and needed it fixed once and for all. They contacted the experts at CT Basement Systems and Richard our certified crawlspace repair specialist fixed all of their concerns. We took their damp dark crawlspace and transformed it into this beautiful crawlspace above with the help of our CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier. Along with protection from mold and rot, a dry crawl space will also be inhospitable to termites, cockroaches, ants, crickets, and many other pests that need excess moisture to survive. Mice and rats are deterred by the plastic vapor barrier, and flooding waters will be kept at bay. Our Sanidry CX was also installed to make sure any moisture that was in the air would be removed. The hom owner now can rest assured that they will no longer have any moisture issues in their crawl space.
This old, open sump pump was not doing its job. It clogged frequently, and couldnt't pump large amounts of water out of the basement. We installed our TripleSafe sump pump in its place, along with a WaterGuard perimeter drain. The TripleSafe is our most reliable sump pump system, with three levels of protection for the basement and the owner's peace of mind.
The owners of this Harrison, NY home always got a wet basement when it rained, so they gave us a call. We installed a WaterGuard perimeter drain in their home, which is beneath the drying cement in this picture. It will capture any water before it enters the home and redirect it to their sump pump system. The unique shape and large drain openings of WaterGuard aid in prevent clogs in the system, so the owners of this home can have peace of mind during bad rainstorms.
This crawlspace was damp and dirty before we encapsulated it with the CleanSpace vapor barrier. The vapor barrier is an effective solution to keeping the crawl space dry because it prevents moisture from passing through the floors and concrete walls of traditional crawl space structures, and has the added benefit of flexibility to cover irregular crawlspaces.
This crawlspace used to create a lot of problems for the homeowner. With our CleanSpace vapor barrier installed in the space, all those moisture-related problems such as rot, mold, foul odors and insects may be gone for good.
