I would appreciate it if you could contact me because we are negotiating the contract and I would like at least a verbal estimate of what it would cost to waterproof the crawl space. We have discovered a vertical crack in our foundation wall. Our contractor has tried to seal the crack with epoxy but it appears to still be leaking small amounts of water. We would like to find out how to seal this crack for good.

Hi: We built our house about 14 years ago. At the time, we were in a flood zone and could only have a crawl space. FEMA has just remapped the flood zones and if they are approved on June 18th, we would be able to have a basement. So we are wondering if it is possible to convert a crawl space to a finished basement. If so, how hard is it and how costly would it be (just to dig). Thanks for your help.
