We have been having trouble with the basement leaking during severe storms. We have identified a couple foundation cracks, and there is mildew showing above the baseboards. I would like to identify and fix the problem or problems.

We do not have a drain in our basement. We have not had a problem with water from outside seeping in, but we have had problems when the sewage drain backs up, or when we have had problems with a humidifier on the furnace or with the hot water heater. In those cases the water has spread into the one finished room in the basement and damaged the carpet, which we have now had to throw out. Felix and crew did a nice job, very clean. Nice attention to detail, e.g. re-installed basement fan in window and wrapped cord, more neatly than I had originally done. Noticed some discoloration from water wicking at seam in cement following storm, called and technical staff noted this was normal. No water in basement following this large storm event. Overall crew did a nice job. Very neat, my basement is much improved.
