Team Basement Systems Supports and Participates in 2011 Men Who Cook - Image 1At this wonderful annual event, our very own Basement Systems and Dr. Energy Saver Teams sponsored and participated in the 2011 Men Who Cook fundraiser.  John Kay and Rick Searles cooked live at the event, starting at 10 a.m. in Warsaw Park, Ansonia, €”where they trimmed, prepped, tied, and seasoned 16 pork roasts!

By 6:00 p.m. the stations were open to some 600 ticket holders.

€œThe event was a blast! It's a great event! said John Kay.

The Men Who Cook fundraiser lasted from 6-11 p.m. and 71 men from throughout the community came to cook their favorite dishes from appetizers, salads, entrees, main courses, and desserts. The $50 entry ticket paid to sample all dishes, an open bar, silent auction, and dancing. A 50"€ wide screen was showing the Final Four basketball playoff game and was auctioned off at the end of the night.
